1984? Farenheit 451? Group Think? Media?

I once again recall the feelings and thoughts that
existed when I had to read what seemed like far
fetched texts of their time. Yet, today I listen to the
media and feel the same thoughts. Slanted views
and opinions come across the air waves trying to
persuade my thinking. Journalists that find it more
important to provide opinion rather than fact.
I am angered by a governing body that insults my
intelligence. I am amazed by the play out of junior
high behaviors before our eyes. I find it difficult to
understand that there is no accountability for the
behavior of our supposed leadership. Leadership
has no meaning today. Integrity has no meaning
today. Minority rules, rules are broken, laws are
ignored and the language is double speak. What is
blatantly obvious is no longer such. Offenses are
poorly covered, they are ignored. Classless
remarks from leadership are excused by arrogant
remarks. Those who think that they are smarter,
and appointed feel the need to rule rather than
govern. I see a dangerous happening taking place.
A ruling class and a working class. And if we don't
wake up and speak up, it will also be a feudal
society. Homes and homesteads owned by the
government and leased to the people.
Many may think I'm crazy or over-reacting but am I?
